Christmas Tree hunting!

On December 6th we met up with my brother Randee and his family to go find the 'perfect' tree. We drove up 5 mile road off of Blewett pass and found our trees. Zeke had a great time running around the woods and we both found very nice trees.

Pete: February 12, 1998 - December 5, 2008

We are sad to say, our sweet Pete passed away in early morning of Friday December 5th. He fought many sicknesses and the last one was too much. We really miss him. It brings Brian and I some peace to know that it was his time and that we didn't have to decide for him. I was going to post more pictures of him, but it's still hard for me. This one was taken last winter of him playing and digging in the snow. He had a happy life and he will always remain our first 'kid'.

Thanksgiving 'weekend'

My Mom and Dad came over from Anacortes to spend Thanksgiving weekend with us and Bob and Connie came across town to enjoy the meal together. I tried some new recipes and they were fun to try, a couple have made it into my recipe box! We had a great time enjoying the company, and food of course.

Nov. 14th random cuteness

It was a nice day today. Hudson and I enjoyed the day together playing.

It's finally time!

We know that Hudson's hair was getting a bit long, but to us, he is perfect the way he is. And, how do you cut an 8 month olds' hair? Well, we were finally ready and we're pretty sure that he was too.

We went to Fredy's after the hair cut and Hudson rode the cart without a car seat for the first time. He had a great time!

Hudson has a tooth!

His first daddy bang happened and now he has a mark on his left eyebrow... I think I'm glad that I wasn't there... I'll get used to it eventually, I guess. He also has a tooth coming in and is starting to crawl up on his hands and knees. It would seem to be the start of a big month for Hudson!

Getting a 'taste' of fall!

October has ended...

We have had a very full October and the busy part doesn't seem to be ending any time soon... I now work at Town Toyota Center (Ice rink arena) and we just had the High School Musical on ice show. My other new job at a hotel gave me some free tickets for the show, so Brian, Hudson, Grandma Connie and Grandpa Bob came on the 30th, Thursday night to see the show, and me, hard at work!
